Day 41, which was a sunday, which was also the last day that we will be breathing the air in wuhan. All of us had more or less had our stuffs packed and checked before heading to the airport.
I had moved to room 220 for the last few nights and stayed with mengzhen and seok. Thanks mengzhen for all the morning calls, i guess she really had a hard time back then...hahas! Also, thanks to peijie and vivian, both my previous room mates from room 116.
room 220.
my new comfort zone for 3 days 3 nights (:
and that's winson, helping to untie the string and
also to help carry our big luggages.

he was helping us for weighing the luggages
to ensure that, we are not exceeding the amount
that we are supposed to have..
thanks! (:
At the hostel's corridor..
Some of us waiting to have our luggages
weigh. While some are waiting for the rest..
joey & cherry!
I guess, the both of them are the ones whom I had spoken most with.
I still remember, the first breakfast..Joey treated my room mates and I
all the famous local food. Like, dou pi, re gan mian and an egg wrap.
Thanks so much! (:
They are really nice girls. They were the ones who let me know more
about their lifestyle and even asked me to play badminton with them.
Sadly, we didn't manage to play a game together. Hopefully, when
you girls come over to singapore, we can have a fun game together (:
I've really enjoyed my stay in wuhan!
Till then, takecare of yourselves and jiayou for your studies!
Journey!
A nice name she have got. hahas!
She was the emcee during all the events that they had
organised for us. Her english was really quite good (:
She too, brought some of us to be familiar with the local places.
She's also the one who brought a couple of us to
had a nice view of sakura! thanks! (:
Jiayou for your studies and I hope to see you in Singapore! (:
Journey, Yepp & Charlotte!
Yepp and Charlotte are also nice ladies.
We did not really talk and interact much..However,
they were one of the few locals that had spent their
revising time to bring us around when we were all
unfamiliar with the surroundings!
Hopefully all of us will stay in contact (:
takecare and jiayou!
We check-in soon after our luggages left us. Many broke down to tears. No matter how much we want to stay, how much we don't want to leave, we still have to say goodbyes with heavy heart and eyes. It was a painful process, but true enough, life's like that. We have got to put these down, and move on. The sense of emptiness and loneliness hit me just like this empty lane, and i'm sure of the others feeling this way too..
while at wuhan airport, waiting to board the plane.
It was really a long wait, even though our flight had been
changed to an earlier one...
My parent! Thanks for welcoming me back home (:
they are the ones who sent me to wuhan, and
brought me back home! hahas!
a grown up daughter, because i've learnt a lot from this trip :D
I'm glad to be home!
During this 41 days in Wuhan. I will like to thank all the WUST students who had been taking good care of us, bringing us around wuhan, and also enrich us more about wuhan and also China. I'm really happy to have come for this trip, and to get to know the friendly people in WUST. Of course not forgetting those OIP peers, we had been together for almost all 41 days, regardless of class, meals, in the dorm, or even shopping.. Seeing each other everyday at any point of time or even all the time, now that we are back at home, the feeling of emptiness set in. But I believe, we will still see each other in school, or even meet up (:

Together with everyone, including the lecturers, tourguides, friends and everyone else, this trip was a great one! Cheers :D
All in all, I've met my learning plans which I had set for myself before the start of this trip. From independent, to studies, to learning more about the world outside, to culture, to friendship and resulting in a grown up me having spent a meaningful birthday in wuhan. I am really satisfied with this Oversea Immersion Programme (:
